Melanie has over 20 years of appraisal experience in the Fairbanks area. Her hard work and dedication to the profession are paramount.

Joan joined our team 4 years ago and has been an intragal addition to our team in terms of efficency, accuracy and timeliness.

Our Story

Melanie moved to Fairbanks in 2003 to attend the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she earned her BBA in Accounting in 2007. While completing her undergraduate studies, she began training as a real estate appraiser and supported herself through administrative work. This early exposure laid the foundation for a long-term commitment to the appraisal industry.

In 2013, Melanie became a Certified Real Estate Appraiser with the State of Alaska. Building on years of experience and dedication, she launched her own small business, Arctic Appraisers, in 2017.

Since its founding, Arctic Appraisers has remained committed to promoting public trust, delivering high-quality data collection and analysis, and upholding a strong work ethic. The result: accurate, timely, and reliable opinions of market value for real estate across the Interior of Alaska.
